Track will appear on musician’s upcoming third solo LP, Little Oblivions

Julien Baker performed the lead single from her new album, “Faith Healer,” on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert Thursday, January 7th.

Filmed at the Nashville venue Exit/In, Baker and her backing band moved through the expansive track and built steadily toward its final booming chorus. “Oh, faith healer, come put your hands all over me,” Baker sings, pushing her voice to its stunning upper limits, “A snake oil dealer/I’ll believe you if you make me feel something.”

The Black Crowes will mark the 30th anniversary of their 1990 debut album Shake Your Money Maker with a deluxe reissue. Set for a February 26th release, the package arrives in multiple formats, including a “super deluxe” edition with unreleased songs, demos, and a raucous concert recording from the band’s early days that finds singer Chris Robinson breaking up a crowd fight mid-song.

100 Gecs Turn Linkin Park’s ‘One Step Closer’ Into Wild Genre Collage

Track marks first in a new series of Hybrid Theory remakes

100 Gecs have dropped a wild reimagining of Linkin Park’s classic, “One Step Closer,” marking the first in a series of remakes to further celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band’s 2000 debut, Hybrid Theory.

The track starts off pretty faithful to the original, with 100 Gecs recasting the intro with a bit more EDM wobble. But by the first chorus, the song explodes into a surreal yet cohesive collage of genres — one that, of course, would make Linkin Park proud — with both Laura Les and Dylan Brady adding their vocals to the song.
